Next up, the Pioneers confront the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 10. Watauga will attempt to advance on its 9-0 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).

The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, St. Stephens gained a win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
