Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) and the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), observed Overhills's volleyball team top Hoke County by a tally of 2-0.

The Jaguars (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots enter the contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Pinecrest achieved victory over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 2-1, in a league test.

The Bucks now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South View for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. Hoke County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
