With the win, Mason County advances its record to 10-0 on the season. The Royals host West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to face the Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 10. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next, the Black Devils play the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Robertson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mason County (Maysville, KY).
