North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Guilford tips Northeast Guilford

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), observed Southern Guilford's volleyball team hold off Northeast Guilford by a count of 2-1.

The Storm (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Western Guilford tipped Dudley (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Rams now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Northeast Guilford will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 4-2.
