The Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 2-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Pirates (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Indians go into the battle with a 1-5 record.

The Vikings now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mira Loma for a battle on Thursday, September 11. Oakmont will encounter a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-1.
