Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), observed R.J. Reynolds's volleyball team top Parkland by a count of 2-0.

The Demons (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons go into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record.

The Mustangs now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Forsyth for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Parkland will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
