The West Carteret Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Croatan for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. West Carteret will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

The Wildcats (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record.
