Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, North Moore nudged Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Randolph for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. Southwestern Randolph will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
