New Mexico High School Soccer - Del Norte knocks off Belen

The Del Norte Knights soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Belen Eagles to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cibola for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 10. Del Norte will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Socorro edged Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 4-0, in a non-league game.
