Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV), 3-1 in a league outing.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights enter the Big Ten outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Preston by Uniontown (Uniontown, PA), 4-2, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Elkins for a Big Ten test on Thursday, September 11. Robert C. Byrd will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
