Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) and the visiting Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH), saw Gallia Academy's soccer squad triumph over Chesapeake by a count of 7-1.

The Blue Devils (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Redmen come into the Ohio Valley match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Rock Hill nipped Wellston (Wellston, OH), 3-1, in a non-league match.

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piketon for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 10. Chesapeake will meet a Redstreaks team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Redstreaks record now stands at 2-7.
