Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cotter moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Stewartville (Stewartville, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a Class A Section 1 test on Saturday, September 13. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-0. Stewartville won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Byron (Byron, MN)

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Crescent for a Class A Section 1 outing on Thursday, September 11. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Lancers record now stands at 4-2.
