Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 5-1 in a league outing.

The Mountaineers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans go into the Wyoming Valley 1 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Wyoming Valley West got by Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 4-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Trojans play the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 game, on Friday, September 12. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA).
