In Tuesday's league contest, the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) soccer team edged the visiting Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Trojans face the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I contest, on Thursday, September 11. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Knights go into the Lackawanna - Division I challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Scranton nudged Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 4-2, in a league challenge.
