The Durand Railroaders soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Ovid-Elsie Marauders to 2 in the Railroaders league victory on Tuesday.
The Railroaders now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Montrose for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11.
With the loss, Ovid-Elsie moves to 9-1 on the season. The Marauders host Hemlock (Hemlock, MI) to face the Huskies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 10. The Huskies enter the contest with a record of 3-4. Hemlock lost 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI)
