Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA), 7-1 in a league outing.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Towanda (Towanda, PA). The Black Knights go into the PIAA District IV-AA outing with a 2-4 record.

Next up, the Tigers play the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA test, on Thursday, September 11. Galeton will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA).
