In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Smithville Smithies soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Hillsdale Falcons.

The Smithies (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Huskies enter the Wayne County outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Northwestern tipped Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 1-0, in a league test.

The Falcons now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Hillsdale will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Alliance (Alliance, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
