In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Trigg County Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Lyon County Lyons.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Lyons go into the District 5 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Lyon County by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 9-0, in a non-league test.
The Lyons now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Lyon County will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-7.
