Ottoville Big Green (Ottoville, OH) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Temple Christian Pioneers (Lima, OH), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Big Green (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Continental (Continental, OH). The Pirates go into the Putnam County test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Continental edged Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 9-2, in a non-league test.

The Pioneers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Temple Christian will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
