Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) and the visiting Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA), saw Perkiomen Valley's soccer squad hold off Spring-Ford by a count of 2-1.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Methacton (Norristown, PA). The Warriors come into the Pioneer battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Methacton was edged by Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rams battle the Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA) in a Pioneer battle, on Thursday, September 11. Spring-Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 6-5 league loss to Norristown (Norristown, PA).
