Nebraska High School Softball - Hershey knocked off by Adams Central

September 9, 2025: Hershey, NE 69143

The Adams Central Patriots overwhelmed the host Hershey Panthers softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Adams Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE).

The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Longhorns go into the C District challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Chase County was routed by Wray/Yuma (Wray, CO), 17-2, in a non-league battle.
