The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) and the host Lincoln Lancers (Denver, CO), saw Alameda's softball squad beat Lincoln by a score of 26-5.

With the triumph, Alameda improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Jefferson (Edgewater, CO) to face the Saints in a 4A/3A Frontier contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Saints enter the contest with a record of 0-6.

The Lancers now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a 4A/3A Denver Prep bout on Thursday, September 11. Lincoln will clash with a Commanders team coming off a 11-11 non-league Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Commanders record now stands at 2-6.
