Colorado High School Softball - Aspen defeated by Basalt

The Aspen Skiers softball squad (Aspen, CO), was routed 22-6 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO)

With the triumph, Basalt improves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Longhorns host Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to face the Panthers in a 3A Western Slope contest on Saturday, September 13. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 2-11. Montezuma-Cortez lost 10-5 in their recent non-league bout against Durango (Durango, CO)

In their next game, the Skiers clash with the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) in a 3A Western Slope bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Aspen will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
