Georgia High School Softball - Charlton County bounces Atkinson County

In Tuesday's league match, the host Charlton County Indians softball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Atkinson County Rebels.
The Indians (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A D-II Region 2 match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Lanier County notched a victory over Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 12-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 match, on Thursday, September 11. Atkinson County will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to Clinch County (Homerville, GA).
