Oklahoma High School Softball - Bishop McGuinness topped by Weatherford

Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Weatherford upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year.

The Fighting Irish now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Elk City for a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. Bishop McGuinness will play a Elks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Elks record now stands at 6-1.
