The Carrollton Trojans overwhelmed the visiting Lafayette County Huskers softball team by a margin of 17-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knob Noster for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Carrollton will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Holden (Holden, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Lafayette County moves to 4-3 on the season. The Huskers travel to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO) to meet the Guardians in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Guardians go into the test with a record of 8-2. St. Michael the Archangel won 18-0 in their recent non-league test against Raytown South (Raytown, MO)
