The Roswell Hornets softball squad scored 9 runs and limited the host Gainesville Red Elephants to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

Next, the Hornets meet the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Roswell will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 0-10 record after their 21-4 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA).

With the loss, Gainesville moves to 4-5 on the campaign. The Red elephants travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11.
