The Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) softball routed the host Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), 5-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Whitfield for a 3A Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 11. Gilmer will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-10.
The Bruins (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 7 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Gilmer held off Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 5-0, in a league test.
