The Howe Lions softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Talihina Golden Tigers to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poteau for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Howe will confront a Pirates team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Wister (Wister, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Talihina moves to 10-7 on the season. The Golden tigers travel to Vian (Vian, OK) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 8-17.
