In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) softball team routed the host Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), by a margin of 13-0.
The Cardinals now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Verdigris will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Skiatook (Skiatook, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-10.
The Bulldogs (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Verdigris prevailed over Catoosa (Catoosa, OK), 19-0, in a non-league test.
