The Locust Grove Pirates softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Stilwell Indians to 5 in the Pirates league win on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Gibson for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Locust Grove will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Glenpool (Glenpool, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.
The Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenpool (Glenpool, OK). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Glenpool held off Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK), 9-7, in a non-league challenge.
