In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Marist War Eagles softball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Southwest DeKalb Panthers.

The War Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Titans come into the 4A Region 5 match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Northview notched a victory over Clarkston (Clarkston, GA), 7-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Panthers play the North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA) in a 4A Region 5 game, on Thursday, September 11. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 5-8 record after their 13-1 league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
