In Tuesday's league test, the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) softball team routed the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), by a margin of 10-1.

The Panthers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dublin for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. Portal will clash with a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-10.

The Buccaneers (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 3 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Jenkins County was routed by Screven County (Sylvania, GA), 11-5, in a league test.
