Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK), 9-8 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Moss improves its record to 11-11 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK) to confront the Bison in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Bison come into the match with a record of 3-8. Bowlegs lost 14-6 in their recent non-league match against Varnum (Seminole, OK)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK) in a Class A game, on Friday, September 12. Strother will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 14-7 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Wewoka (Wewoka, OK).
