With the triumph, Riverdale upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Raiders host Luella (Luella, GA) to play the Lions in a 3A Region 5 game on Thursday, September 11. The Lions enter the game with a record of 8-4. Luella won 23-4 in their recent league game against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA)

The Eagles now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a 3A Region 5 match on Thursday, September 11. North Clayton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 26-11 league win over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
