The Piedmont Wildcats softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Southmoore SaberCats to 2 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Jenks for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. Piedmont will confront a Trojans team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Union (Tulsa, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Southmoore moves to 10-9 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 1-15.
