The Southland Academy Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Westwood Wildcats to 2 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crisp Academy for a GIAA Class A & AA District 3 battle on Thursday, September 11. Southland Academy will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 12-8 league win over Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Westwood moves to 3-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a GIAA Class A & AA District 3 test on Thursday, September 11. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 9-5. Southwest Georgia Academy won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA)
