Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Granite Hills Cougars (Apple Valley, CA) and the visiting Adelanto Saints (Adelanto, CA), observed Granite Hills's volleyball team top Adelanto by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Victor Valley (Victorville, CA). The Jackrabbits enter the Desert Sky contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Victor Valley notched a victory over Barstow (Barstow, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Saints encounter the Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA) in a Desert Sky battle, on Thursday, September 11. Adelanto will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Hawks go into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA).
