The Albemarle Patriots edged the visiting Goochland Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Patriots face the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a Jefferson game, on Thursday, September 11. Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Culpeper County was nudged by Goochland (Goochland, VA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
