In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Alpena Wildcats.

The Blue Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Traverse City West for a Big North test on Tuesday, September 16. Alpena will face a Titans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI). The Titans record now stands at 4-9.
