North Carolina High School Volleyball - Swain County can't hold off Andrews

September 9, 2025: Bryson City, NC 28713

In Tuesday's league match, the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), by a final score of 3-2.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A match, on Thursday, September 11. Andrews will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).

The Maroon Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Murphy held off Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
