Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) boosters left the game pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Henderson County nudged Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edmonson County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Daviess County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-11.
