The Pirates (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Falcons come into the Santa Cruz Coast challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Scotts Valley beat Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mariners face the Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast test, on Thursday, September 11. Aptos will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league win over San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA).
