The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Northeast Guilford for a TAAC Six 5A/6A bout on Thursday, September 11. Northern Guilford will clash with a Rams team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.

The Blue Comets (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the TAAC Six 5A/6A match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Southeast Guilford notched a victory over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league match.
