The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Pilots enter the Bay Counties - East contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Notre Dame was knocked off by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Owls encounter the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) in a Bay Counties - East battle, on Friday, September 12. Athenian will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Phoenix go into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA).
