Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN) and the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN), observed Barnum's volleyball team top Moose Lake/Willow River by a count of 3-1.

The Bombers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Agates enter the Polar contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Two Harbors was knocked off by Floodwood (Floodwood, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rebels battle the Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 13. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Menahga (Menahga, MN).
