The Bergman Panthers volleyball squad (Bergman, AR), was knocked off 3-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR)

The Bearkatz (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A 2 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Salem achieved victory over Cave City (Cave City, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yellville-Summit for a 3A 2 battle on Thursday, September 11. Bergman will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Omaha (Omaha, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
