Texas High School Volleyball - Birdville over Denton

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX) and the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), saw Birdville's volleyball squad notch a victory over Denton by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Birdville improves its record to 17-6 on the season. The Hawks host Ryan (Denton, TX) to encounter the Raiders in a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, September 12. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 14-13. Ryan lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX)

Next, the Broncos meet the Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Denton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Royals enter the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX).
