Bradwell Institute Tigers (Hinesville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Blue Devils enter the 5A Area 1 South challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Statesboro beat New Hampstead (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Tide face the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Area 3 test, on Thursday, September 11. Long County will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 10-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
