In Tuesday's league match, the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Blue Devils now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Brevard will clash with a Braves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Braves record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Tuscola drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A bout on Thursday, September 11. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-7.
